This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application “Structree” (the “App”) handles information when you download, install, access, or use the App. The App is provided by the individual or entity that publishes the App on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other distribution platforms (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

The App is designed as a local-first structured thinking application. At the time this Privacy Policy is published, the App does not require user registration or login, and the content you create in the App is generally stored locally on your device.

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information handled in connection with your use of the App. It does not apply to websites, applications, advertisements, app stores, payment systems, or services operated by third parties, even if they are linked from or accessible through the App.

Third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies, terms, and practices. We encourage you to review those third-party policies before using such services.

2. Information You Enter Into the App

2.1. Structured content

The App allows you to create and manage structured information, which may include:

• World, Pyramid, and Tree items;
• text-based notes, titles, descriptions, blocks, and nodes;
• hierarchical or structured relationships between items;
• ordering, position, or display state of items;
• images you choose to add as supporting visual content;
• image metadata used by the App to manage local content;
• app settings, local preferences, and display options; and
• other information you choose to enter into the App.

2.2. Local storage

The content you create in the App is generally stored locally on your device using local app storage, such as an on-device database and local files. We do not operate a user account system or cloud synchronization service for this App at the time this Privacy Policy is published.

Because your content is stored locally, we generally cannot view, access, restore, or recover your content. Your content may be lost if, for example, you delete the App, reset the local database, clear app data, reinstall the App, change devices, lose your device, delete local files, run cleanup or maintenance features, or experience a device or software failure.

2.3. Images

The App may allow you to add images from your device or other sources for use as supporting visual content. Images added to the App may be stored locally on your device together with related metadata used by the App.

We do not intentionally collect or upload the images you add to the App through our own servers as part of the core local structured thinking functionality. However, your device operating system, photo library, app store, backup system, or other third-party services may handle such images according to their own settings and policies.

2.4. Sensitive information

The App is a general-purpose thinking, note-taking, and organization tool and is not intended for storing highly sensitive information. You should avoid entering information such as passwords, government identification numbers, financial account details, medical records, private legal documents, confidential business information, or other information that requires special protection.

3. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

At the time this Privacy Policy is published, we do not intentionally collect, transmit, or store the following information through our own servers as part of the core structured thinking functionality:

• your local notes, text blocks, structures, trees, or local database;
• images you add to the App as local content;
• your name, email address, or phone number, unless you contact us;
• account registration information;
• precise location data;
• contacts, calendar events, microphone recordings, or camera recordings;
• payment card information; or
• health, medical, biometric, or government identification data.

However, third-party services used by or accessible from the App, such as app stores, advertising services, in-app purchase systems, operating system functions, backup systems, photo libraries, external browsers, or external websites, may collect or process information as described in their own policies.

4. Device, App, and Diagnostic Information

The App may process technical information on your device as necessary to operate the App, such as app settings, purchase status, ad-free status, local preferences, device language, operating system behavior, storage state, and basic app state.

If crash reporting, diagnostics, analytics, or similar tools are added in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, the app store privacy disclosures. At the time this Privacy Policy is published, the App is not designed to require analytics for its core local structured thinking functionality.

5. Advertising

The App may display third-party advertisements, for example through Google AdMob or similar advertising services. Advertising services may collect or receive information from your device, such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, app activity related to ad delivery, and information about your interactions with ads.

In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or another applicable platform provider. We do not directly process or store your payment card information.

The App may store purchase-related state locally on your device, such as whether a paid feature or ad-free status is enabled. The applicable app store or platform provider may process purchase history, account identifiers, transaction identifiers, receipts, and billing-related information according to its own terms and privacy policy.

If you use a restore purchases feature, the App may communicate with the relevant app store or platform purchase system to check whether an eligible purchase is associated with your store account.

7. Developer Promotional Banners and External Links

The App may display optional promotional banners, buttons, or links placed directly by us. These may link to websites, app store pages, products, services, or other external resources.

When you tap an external link, your browser, operating system, app store, or the destination website or service may receive information such as your IP address, device information, browser information, referral information, and interaction data. Those third parties process information according to their own policies.

Local App content generally remains on your device until you delete it, reset the local database, clear app data, uninstall the App, delete local files, or otherwise remove it through device or app functionality.

Images and related metadata added to the App may remain in local storage until you delete them, remove the related content, run cleanup or maintenance features where available, reset the local database, clear app data, uninstall the App, or otherwise remove them through device or app functionality.

If you contact us, we may retain the communication for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, resolve issues, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, and protect our rights.

13.1. Local App content controls

You can manage local App content using the App’s features, such as editing, organizing, deleting, reordering, resetting data, or running cleanup or maintenance functions where those features are available.

13.2. Images and device permissions

You may be able to manage photo library, file access, or related permissions through your device settings. The availability and effect of these controls may vary by platform, region, device, operating system, and App version.

13.3. Advertising and tracking controls

Because the App is primarily local-first and does not require an account, we may not be able to identify or access local content stored only on your device.

14. Children’s Privacy

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent where required, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.

We take reasonable measures designed to protect information handled by the App. However, no app, device, storage method, network, or electronic transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, operating system, app store account, local files, and any backups you create.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do so, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. If the changes are material, we may also provide additional notice, such as within the App or on our website.

Your continued use of the App after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
